Up to 8th from 9th place in this years Competitiveness Talent Rankings by IMD. Switzerland, Denmark and Norway formed the top three. Finland placed 7th, USA 12th and United Kingdom 23rd.
The rankings are based on surveys taken by 6,000 executives and hard data.
There are several things. Education, apprenticeships, workplace training, language skills, cost of living, quality of life, remuneration and tax rates are listed on the IMD website.
I wonder if these indexes are discusses privately between governments themselves. I imagine them gloating to each other when they win in a specific category
