This past weekend my dad got married in Örnsköldsvik, which is his hometown in Northern Sweden. My friends and I stayed in an Airbnb on an island in Örnsköldsvik called Deckarsön. It was so beautiful. They had these flowers everywhere. I don’t know the name of them but they are lovely. 🌸

They are Lupins. An invasive species from America. They are beautiful but sadly are good at taking over (big problem on Island).

Deviantart, photos, drawing and paintings.

Oh no! That makes sense that they are invasive since they are growing everywhere.

Just a couple of days ago, I saw Lupins in a color I have never seen before. This was in the northern Stockholm archipelago (the east side of Väddö). #0: Is your dads wife from Sweden as well, or is Sweden new to her?

Best regards, Niklas 🎈
