Best place to buy a used bike in Stockholm

I am looking for a used racer bike for my Dad and another one for my boyfriend. Price range 1000-2500kr. They are both 180cm. I’ve looked on Blocket.se found a few but no one has written back. Does anyone know of a used bike store shop in Stockholm perhaps?

Places like Myrorna sometimes have used bikes for sale. I’m not sure about racer bikes though. Also, look at Bortskänkes.se. You might get lucky. Or visit iRecycle in Stockholm.

Have you tried Facebook market place or buying/selling groups on Facebook?

I am so irritated Crying I found a great deal on a bike on blocket. Was the first person to write to the guy. Told him I want to buy the bike and I have few questions about the bikes condition - tires, etc. on the 11th. He replied last night (Saturday evening at 8pm) answering my questions and asking if i want to buy the bike. I said yes I want to buy the bike. He says when can you pick it up. I said tomorrow around 12. I wake up this morning and because he never replied I said so is it ok to come at that time? and he replies saying that he sold it to the second person who wrote to him because everything was going to slow. Mind you it was him that was taking forever to reply.

Beyond annoyed right now! Who does that?

I understand your frustration. At the same time, I can understand him selling it to the first person giving him the money. The other person may not have had as many questions or perhaps lived near him. Hopefully, he told you as soon as he could. I'm sure you will find one just as good.

I think it must be a cultural thing because I found it to be extemely inconsiderate. He wasted my time. And he didn't tell me as soon as he could, I waited around all morning for his reply Sunday morning. I had other plans.

But I am sure that I will find a better bike for my Dad.

Do you have a picture of the one you liked? Then I would know if I saw one. #6: If he didn't tell you straight away I agree that it is inconsiderate and perhaps not a cultural thing.

#6 I would agree I don't reckon its a cultural thing, I have that same thing happen to me. Some people are just selfish and will do anything for a quick sale.

I was able to find a bike over the weekend! It was 3900kr and in very good condition as it was newly bought in 2016 (original price was over 9000kr). The owner was selling it because he got into mountain bikes (this bike is a road bike). Laughing
