Thousands of foreign students go to Sweden each year to study. Some of them like Sweden so much they go back again after graduation. The Local has interviewed former exchange students who has returned to Sweden to find out what attracted them to Sweden. Italian Claudia ƻelazowska is one of them:
"When I came back from Sweden no one could understand why I loved it so much," she tells The Local. "My friends didn't understand the things I experienced. I missed the international environment and meeting people from all over the world."
Two of the students that were from our university have already returned, and we saw them during our year abroad year! Who knows, maybe I'll return, it's definitely something I am considering
I wasn't a foreign exchange student but l lived in Sweden for less than 2 yrs when I was in my early 20's and I have been trying to move back every since! LOL
Niklas don't you know what problems the Swedish Immigrationsoffice can make to forbid people to come to Sweden even if they have family here housing, good economic standard, and place in a decent school.
#11 Do you know of any children who had the possibility to join a working mother, married to a Swede and been paying taxes for some years, having put an neither she or her husband hav ever used the swedish support system (socialhhjÀlp, arbetetslöshetsunderstöd eller liknande. Both of them could show permanent employment when Migrationsverket demanded it But the children have to stay in Thailand even if everything was ready for them here.
#12: Two were in relationships with Swedes, a couple was studying here at first, one was an asylum seeker (a child), one was married to a Swede and the rest I don't know about.
